Tamara Brooks-Venables has spent several years photo- documenting orchids, fungi and insects throughout the Blue Mountains region. In doing so, she has built up an impressive knowledge and archive of a miniature world which most of us will have never seen.
Tamara has always had a keen interest in the natural environment. As she noticed fewer insects in the environment, she began reading articles relating to insect biodiversity losses around the globe. She now attempts to keep a public record on Facebook of observed species in photographs, and has extended this to include snakes and other reptiles.
