2005 - 2006 | Nature Thru Fresh Eyes

This exhibition of works brought together the visual responses and experiences of the bushwalks in the Blue Mountains – Euroka, Katoomba Falls, Narrow Neck, Lawson Empire Pass and Waterfalls at South Lawson. The project also aimed to break the social isolation for multicultural residents from emerging and established communities, bringing together 1st and 2nd generation residents from over twenty countries as part of the Blue Mountains community.

2007 | Bushfire Storytelling

A social research project involving the facilitation of community workshops in storytelling and writing about past and recent bushfire experiences in the Blue Mountains, working in collaboration with community and neighbourhood centres.

2007 | Indigenous Time Pod

In partnership with Shiney Pictures and the Blue Mountains Aboriginal Cultural Resource Centre (ACRC) this project created videos with Aboriginal youth recording oral histories of Elders.

2007 | Renewal Community Project

A community Arts project and community consultation focusing on the sense of place from an environmental perspective and community wellbeing in the context of the impact of the redevelopment of Lawson village and highway upgrade. The project incorporated arts based processes with local Aboriginal artists and local community at Lawson community Festival. Aboriginal artist, Chris Tobin painted wooden logs with natural ochres and opened dialogue with the local community. In addition, a sculptural vision tree made of paper was displayed for the whole community and for people of different ages to express their community’s vision and feelings about cultural heritage and values and connection to place and shared with the community on paper leaves.

2007 – 2008 | Rock Art Lives On

Funded by Blue Mountains City Council's Cultural Partnerships Program, this project involved research, development and a curated art exhibition with the local Aboriginal community, Indigenous Elders and artists in contemporary interpretations and Connection to Country to rock art in the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage area. The resulting exhibition was presented at the 2007 Blue Mountains Music Festival in Katoomba.

2008 | The Streetwise

With funding from Arts NSW, this project comprised a word and image portrait of the Blue Mountains by Peter Adams and Alan Lloyd. Peter Adams captured the heart and soul of the Blue Mountains through its people. Working with writer Alan Lloyd, he set out to make a portrait in images and words of a unique community. More than 20,000 images were shot and 80,000 words written, resulting in a remarkable book and photographic exhibition opened by the Governor of NSW, Professor Marie Bashir.

2008 | Aboriginal Cultural & Tourism Research

Funded by Arts NSW, this research project involved consultation with newly formed local Aboriginal artist group, The Marra Mob, to identify Aboriginal artistic and cultural tourism opportunities in the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage area.

2008 | Landmarks and Keepsakes

A partnership project with Mountains Community Resource Network (MCRN) and Blue Mountains Multicultural Residents Group, this project facilitated and conceived workshops utilising the Photovoice Methodology working with multicultural residents in the Blue Mountains. The resulting exhibition was presented in Springwood Library and at the Lawson Festival.

2009 – 2010 | Branching Out

Funded by Arts NSW, this project produced an online exhibition working with a community curatorium to research, develop and present for public access. This included a year long project of research, meetings and identifying community contributions and perspectives, contemporary art works, heritage and archival material utilising the eucalypt as a catalyst for stories.

2010-2011 | Lord Phyto and Lady Myrtle

Funded by Blue Mountains City Council Cultural Partnerships Program, this project involved research, script development , costume development and script development of two theatrical characters for environmental education performance based on scientific information on the issue of the environmental damage by Phythophthora and myrtle rust in the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage area. The performance was produced in collaboration with the local circus group, Ruby Bloomers Women’s Circus. Costume development with Circus Solarus. Performed at Mount Tomah Botanic Garden.
